We are happy to recycle your charging cables.  Other items we accept include cameras, video game systems and more.

Does Big Sky Recycling accept chargers and charging cords?

Yes, Big Sky Recycling will gladly recycle your cell phone chargers, cords, and accessories.

How do I erase my personal data?

Upon requesting a shipping label we will provide you with a pre-shipment check list, including instructions on how to remove your accounts and erase personal data. These step-by-step directions can also be found here.

If you are unable or unsure how to erase your data we are happy to help. Big Sky Recycling follows strict standards of operations, ensuring data destruction on all recycled electronics.

Can I include batteries with my cellphones?

Yes, please include the batteries and leave them installed in the cell phones.

What if I don’t have access to a printer?

If you don’t have access to a printer and are requesting a prepaid shipping label, we will mail you a label.  To request a mailed label, please contact us.

How do I schedule a USPS pickup?

Once your cell phones are ready to ship, you can drop them off at the nearest USPS location or schedule them to be picked up from your home or office.

How do I print multiple prepaid shipping labels?

If needed, we are happy to provide multiple prepaid USPS shipping labels.  Please contact us and let us know how many labels are needed.

Does Big Sky Recycling accept televisions or desktop monitors?

No, at this time we do not accept televisions or desktop monitors.  We recommend finding a local recycling center for these items.

How do I request a certificate of data destruction?

We are happy to provide you with a certificate of data destruction.  To request one, please contact us prior to shipping your phones.

Can I get a charitable deduction form?

Big Sky Recycling was built around the idea of giving back to nonprofits but this does not qualify us as a IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit and therefore cannot provide tax deduction documents.

However, we would be happy to provide you with a receipt of your donations, to request on please contact us prior to shipping your phones.
